duck ponds
febuary 25, 2025

another pile of stuff for me to potentially try and sell off at some vendor plave or whatever. these were somewhat more enjoyable than of other pile types, ducks... love em.

wasnt going for any particular species but i suppose they are of domestic types based on the mostly uniform/ marbled colorations... shrugs.
but yeah. little tiny ponds, each varied with size and amount of scenery... some are small tiny that can only have a single duck and the larger ones can be more pond per pond. if i kept each all the same i will start biting windows.

p1. pond fluff p2. layer fluff p3. trim edges

so to get the ponds, i gotta make the water parts. brown layer for dirt, white layer as in between and blue for water. kept the water not too mixed with all the differnt shades of blue, marbled keeps as waves.

p4. first stack p5. second pile p6. third pile

showing each batch of ponds because each one is unique and gotta be appreciated. this shit aint easy.

p7. batch roll p8. clip dry p9. fluff layers

and each batch of water has to be rolled to do that shrinkage thing so they wont as easily fall apart. that being each around 10 minutes of moving my leg back and forth.

p10. fourth pile p11. fifth pile p12. sixth pile

p13. seventh pile p14. eigth pile p15. ninth pile

p16. tenth pile p17. eleven pile p18. twelve pile

getting at a dozen ponds already.

p19. thirteen pile p20. fourteen pile p21. fifteen pile

p22. sixteen pile p23. seventeen pile p24. dry hang

after each batch is made and rolled, i gotta hang them out to dry. im not even gonna bother going back and count as to just how many ponds there are. you do it. jsut scroll and count.

p25. duck stab p26. duck shape p27. duck shape

finally.. duck.

p28. duck butt p29. duck feet p30. first ducks

some of the ducks are normal shapes, other are with their butts up as to show dabbling behavior. the first few ducks had eyes, but then i quickly came to realize itll be absolute hell in dealing with 2 really small tiny details for each individual, so i ommited the eyes. the little round shapes are of rocks.

p31. cosmo down p32. cosmo side p33. cosmo look

cosmo does not particularly care for the ducks.

p34. second ducks p35. wet plants p36. third ducks

getting some plants down for the ponds.

p37. baby palm p38. fourth ducks p39. fifth ducks

and then decided to also make some baby ducklings.

p40. box ducks p41. duck brick p42. pond piles

i was making ducks until i filled in this little box.. yeah that should be enough... now all of everything.... eugh.

p43. butt attach p44. first half p45. second half

now to begin assembling. starting off with the tiny ones with single ducks.

p46. grey close p47. size ponds p48. size stack

yeah theres the three main sizes- small medium and large. had to go through and seperate them each.

p49. med single p50. med close p51. seprate pile

with the medium and largs, i also started with a single duck on each. just to make sure each one got one. and then seperated the ducks by types- full, butts, babies, rocks and plants.

p52. box type p53. double duck p54. double table

some are just big enough for a second duck.

p55. rock poke p56. plants on p57. seperate box

using multiple boxes so i wont confuse myself on if a pond is "to be worked on more" or if already done. sometimes shit just goes on autopilot.

p58. first done p59. second done p60. third done

alright yeah. yeah.. done now. now to show them off. not individually god fuck.

p61. fourth done p62. five done p63. six done

p64. seven done p65. eight done p66. nine done

p67. ten done p68. all done

p69. cup brick p70. excess duck

yeah theres a bit of excess ducks. i could probably try figuring out how to see them off as is.. little charms.

p71. large pond p72. large tilt p73. large side

the large ones ill keep for myself. theyre too fancy to give away too strangers. yknow.

p74. pond pinch p75. pond hold

p76. stabs front p77. stabs back

needing both sides for the stab counter... 616 recordded stabs. fingers hurt.

but yeah if youre a lucky bastard who got to snag a pond or two... perhaps you might just recognize which is yours...
