had an itch that needed scratching so i went making not one , not two but three pigeons. not tiny, but not big either. fingerlings really. of the domestic type with three different breeds- king, lahore, and uhhhhh. the. feral street with blue bar morph.
starting with the king one. pigeon software with chicken hardware. bred to be big hefty for meat, which accounts for a rather subpar flying skill.
was bulking out the general shape, but now i can use the the regular white wool for skin.
making wing, beak then eyes. king done.
now for the lahore type. using old scraps tacked together for shaping.
so as i was making the initial pink feet, i realized i should save those for the feral. since the key physical characteristic of lahore breed type is that the feet area got pantaloons sweeping about.
hm. intriguing how there can be multiple colors and patterns exhibited, but the breed is pretty much always with that countershading with colored back and white belly.
thought i could do with two.... nah lets make them poly. now for the feral one.
gonna do the most common pattern of the blue bar type.
now i can use the feet i made earlier...
i dont know if there is like.... a proper name for the most standard platonically idea street form of pigeon. because as far as i know if its not a show or livestock type its just. ... hm. well SURELY they were called differently than "street pigeons" before they were left abandoned to the streets for sake of goddamn email. ... pets?
