remember wiggly lizard? yeah. keeping it for myself and making a new thing for cat friend. remaking a new skin of the same colors as the lizard.
now ive got a handful of good ridgid wire things that ive had sitting around for years and finally came up with
an idea of how to employ at least ONE of them. as well as a dinky little wood board thing.
so a dragon head thats like mounted on the wall. aint too shabby for the first time doing something of this magnitude... yeah.
get the wood. get a craft felt sheet. needle and thread. cut the sheet and sew it into a. shape. then stuff it up.
needed an S shape for the neck so added some wool to bulk it out. and then using what i can to make a big enough hole to put the wire through the neck it wouldve been a lot easier if i put the wire inside the body before i stitched it up and just built around said wire BUT ITS TOO LATE NOW so gotta plan in a different way! inhale.
duct tape. never fails.
putting the skin on. retrospect, i probably put it on too early but whatever. its 3 days until a full year as i make this webpage.
the basic shape of the dragon has been realized. now to make it be recognizable as dragon. horns.
oh yeah, its all coming together.
also had some burlap lying around for many years and i wanted to cover up the slippy stitching and tape of how ive been going about.
dragon seemed bald so added a few spines along the back.
and to finally have the dragon be awake, putting on the eyes.
yippee!
