this is a gift for friend eggs dearest, of his citty kat koshka cat meow nuu- chappie man.
ive then decided to make another of the man and, to namesakes, a little splattered eggy.
hm. also just now looking up and apparently the coat pattern is a "cap and saddle"... cool.
im also gonna go break the usual format for the webpages of my feltings and just.
have the photos be In Order. where its the work in progress before the gallery section.
perhaps i shall keep it like so for all the other feltings i do afterwards...
the wips of the big one.
here i began with piece of craft sheet and did some sewing to turn it into a little baggy thing.
shoved some rosemary and lavender for that smell. ive been developing quite the habit of gathering
from various bushes off the sides of roads.
build base. bulk base.
keep bulking that base. and then i began with the limbs. just doing the front feet and tail.
so chappie here is a long haired man, and i wanna potray that. so i started building all these lil tufts to be attached on...
and now the most important detail of all.......
THERE WE GO
i thought to be a bit ambitious and make the mouth part look. mouthy.
putting a chin over the head part and then having the snout sit atop of it.
putting on other parts of the body on, finally getting the legs there.
not putting much detail with the back legs, as theyre just. tucked under the body.
and i know it would look weird if i make cute leetle paw print shapes
and push it into the belly.
because in the act of securing that to the body, the shape would shrink as it goes into the body.
yall will see what i mean when i get to the eye part.
basically i estimate a greater chance of fucking up than for everything to turn out well.
i also thought of being ambitious again with the mouth part. to look Even More mouthy.
this is what i mean with the eyes.
making the eyes MUCH bigger than they need to be. as to compensate for whats gonna be shoved into the body.
listen as much as it has been a sore subject for me in schooling, math is.... well.
math is as much spirited as it is for art.
