making a surface to look like the rock of which the horse will be splattered on. layer, wet, beat and roll. the usual procedures.
get the tile of the rock all fixed up at the edges.
VERY DELICATELY make the shape of the horse bodies and still keep them at 2d flat. then stab them onto the rock tile, and after theyre secured enough could i put on the features of being recognized as horse.
after their forms have been realized, i do a bit of kneading to make sure the fibers of the horse really hug the fibers of the rock. then just hang to dry. yeah. thats that.
