this was a gift for a shopkeeper friend in appreciation of becoming a friend. traded out a toy rabbit she made for the baby.
covered in a sheet of cheese cloh to be like a ghost. eraser head. yeah interesting movie. glad it exists.
the big baby inspired me to make a bunch of little babies as trinkets.
putting baby in a bag and carrying on a bus ride and a half to go to the shop and hand deliver the meaty baby unto her. goody.
i got lost in unfamiliar grounds when i wnet to do outside photos. it was getting dark and phone battery was draining. baby curse me.
naturally.
though as i continue going forward i found the streets and a familiar bus stop. spared from baby wrath. hrmph fitting.
got rice inside the bag to be as a weight to be something hefty when baby is held. as well as some yew seeds i had to the fruit around and a peach pit. symbolism. lavender for smell of course, classic.
now that i got the body base all formed up, now to do the skin layer. i wasnt trying to go for anything near life sized.... maybe later.
i added valuable red wool later on to really give that meat fresh veiny look of SKIN skin.
i refer to "skin" in my feltings just as the outer layer where all the fun details are at.
i made the skin only for the exposed part of baby- head and neck. i only had like a few days of a self imposed limit on this and i had plenty of craft sheets to use. just cut those into strips to be as the bandage wrappings.
now before i go putting the skin on the head, i refined the mouth a bit further, really get that feeling of choking and gasping and wheezing in there. then get the eyes started.
ah really looking like raw meat. theres a reason i put the eyes before the skin. i forgot why.
gotta finish the details of the eyes being. well i already used the word "meaty".
stab counter: 23. i suppose if i manually made the banage wraps, it would be much more self stabs because i gotta make sure theres no stray fibers sticking out.
with the subject of the eraser head baby of all things, it just makes the idea of these photos all the more hilarious.
shouldve known wet dirt would get. well. dirty. oh well it seems to fit in character at least.
my ears hurt. good bye.
