The Takhi.
also known as Przewalski's horse which is named after some guy.
or perhaps if yore a nerd, you would say Equus ferus przewalskii
and the takhi is the only wild horse remaining, native to the steppes of central asia.
aND WELL. i like horses.
see me half my life ago and i was obsessed.
though growing up ive nearely forgotten most everything ive known about horses.
so like. fuck it. lets make one.
oh yeah
and
the toy i made is a hollow body. the head can seperate.
could fit like a USB in there.
ive taken a some of ishduk liberties of putting plant stuff inside
of course.
that being salmonberry along the way to the library and lanvender from side of the road.
yall may notice that these photos are done differently than what is the usual formula
of other pages for the feltings.
in that its the "outside" before the "inside"
its ahhh... something i only noticed halfway through in editing them to then put in here.
and i swimply couldnt be bothered to care to change that up.
shrug.
"sniff"
"snorf"
that was to show how much can be snuck inside the body. so theres the full length of a pen
and then shoved in, its how miuch will stick out.
about... uhhh... 14 cm.. ah who cares
HAND SIZED
horsey is hand sized.
alright heres where i talk about the making,
and the making was only 2 days
and not even through the span of two days.
TWO SITTINGS
DONT do that shit.,
and also i didnt think to record the stab counting.
and i was stabbed a lot.
estimatting at 150 sopmething.
my fingers have yet to heal up in having to typing all this up
didnt bother clearing the desk of what ive caused in making Ronan.
fuck it ill use some of that.
also finally using some of that green sheet that wouldve been used for mask maker.
sewed it together instead of poking the seams together just to save a bit of time.
as that would be the initial starting poitnt to making the body be hollow.
neck.
getting the shape known already.
the core of the legs. compared the first piece to make the second of the front and back pair
npt bothering to use ruler to do any measuring. just eyeballing it.
thesde photos are blurry as shit, sorry.
but to hide a bit of the bright green, i put a layer of grey
for before i do reverse flaying, of putting the skin fur tiles on.
and the skin fur tiles were wettings. covers more area all at once than had i applied it dry.
yeah been putting in salmon seeds and lavender buds into the fibers at this point. between where i attach the parts to the body.
theres in all the legs, the tail, the rear and the head.
and hooh. lemme tell ya those lavender buds are REALLY aromatic
nearly getting a headache from how much i was huffing the fumes seeping out.
made the tail be really bulky, put several layers to it.
heafty in order to ct as a counter balance against the weight of the head,
because even though the legs are able to hold up,
i just wouldnt trust them on their own entirely.
getting there...
okay done.
