i know absolutely nothing about pokeman aside from cultural osmosis,
but cat friend loves mewtwo and thats all that matters.
and this doll is a gift for cat friend.
really fucking big for a felting only because i found ample amount of dirty wool that i can use to
bulk out the shape, and do it all in the span of only. 4 days. whoosh.
slathered lavender soap throughout the body so that the doll will smell.
family thought i was making a kangaroo.
is a big bitch! like the size of my forearm!
didnt use any sort of measurement throughout the process. just eyeballing to keep things in porportions.
apparentyl mewtwo can also stand on the head. points of contact being only the snout and ears. neat!

take out the bag of scrappy stuff, be it a mix of dirty wool and synthetic fibers.
then get to mixing a bunch of colors together. because if you know me, i just. GOTTA get that good ole marble effect.
and then sculpt out the general shape of the mewtwo.
get the torso going on, looking like an eraser head baby, then get the legs.
putting toes on the legs as is, but not giving the arms fingers.
wouldve veen too thick if i put the regular wool to the core of fingers.
tail is also a limb.
making sure everyrthing lines up fine. make a mixing of two skin piles. light pink for the body
and a purple for the tail. thankfully the base is mostly white of the synthetic fibers,
and mewtwo is pretty light so dont need to do a cover up layer. could just put the skin directly ontop of the base.
now being able to put the skin on, starting with the feet upwards.
learned that as long as mewtwo has a plantigrade stance, the doll could stand. neat!
because i was just gonna go for having ther doll be one that can only sit on the edge of shelves.
ok NOW getting the fingers on.
forming up the pectorals and the. thing mewtwo has at the back of the neck.
yknow, the entire time im putting the body color on, i kept thinking about how im making mewtwo look
like an actual skinned creature with the way pinks and whites slithered around.
i got a pair of chopsticks. got a binder clip.
stick the sticks to the clip
doohickey: made
put the doohickey against the tail so that itll stress the fibers to be bent.
and passively make the tail have that S curve.
the tail got the S curve now, and then could get to reverse flaying it.
however for some how, mewtwo forgot how to stand as i was doing so.
now i can get to putting the eyes on. made the eyes be as flat, putting the white AROUND the black
instead of just putting the black ontop of the white. because when i put it on the face, would have bulged awkwardly.
and when the eyes were on, mewtwo looked so. happy, alert and curious.
and once i put the eyebrows on, oh the personality reakky showed up.
the snout stuff and then for last i can put the. thing on the neck.
what the hell is it even? just grabs onto it like a purse handle and then gets immedetly obliterated by mewtwo.
and of course, the stab counter. 152. average. bled averagly.

made a quick stech and note taking of mewtwo so that i can glance for refrence instead of having to keep searching up.
AH OH it wouyldve been so cool if i poked myself just twice less so that it would have matched the dex number. damn...
