lost. lost frog. youll see why I call this "lost frog" the more you read and scroll down.
so this was to be a gift for a mine sister, the same one i made the rico frog as to last year.
i wasnt really going for any particular species. just taking the platonic ideal of "FROG" and then abstracting it
to be the essence of "FROG"... artistic liberties and all that.
not everything gotta be realistic. yknow what i mean.
yeah, im gonna go off the rivers course a bit and put the "work in progress" section BEFORE the gallery.
itll be explained. just keep scrolling.
alright so to start off, get a lumpy shape going, and then refine that shape to be the frog. without the skin layer.
and im using the leftover colors from the bimbo clown.
and then put the skin on.
nothing much to say on this part.
skin on.
get some of that face stuff going on. then i wanted to detail up the back a bit, slapped some spots on it.
tried to do some kind of teardrop shape instead of just round splotchy spots. personally i think i exucuted that well enough.
the lil feets. just decided to go with two toes, because i thought itll be cuter than 3 toes, and itll be
better looking than 1 single toe. having them stick out from underneath the body. its cute. thats all that matters.
aint forgetting the other pair of legs. seen only when the body is flipped over. prints.
and now that the everything is done, i can fill in the eyes. as its now time for the frog to wake up.
and uh. yeah. thats that. yippee!

and its only until i went to edit all these that i realized that the frog is always facing left. yall never got a chance
to see the right side. AND YALL NEVER WILL.

i decided to take oooone more photo of BC. just as the bus arrived. and in the scramble i lost the frog.
I EVEN called for stop as soon as possible and ran back to the place... *:anguish:*

it also doesnt help that i came across a dead bird when i went outside to take the photos...
couldnt i have felt the vibes in my own home? bad sport, REal bad.
