names for this person. just what was stuck with for english language.

float swim

Good news! the woolen scuptures in the depictions of goose CAN float atop water!
Bad news! if too waterlogged will sink!

drench

after I've gone out and got all these photos, I had to take a day to repair the fibers from being undone by the water.
the sweet rain tried to help, but sadly not much benefit.

wingspan height length

wasnt mindful of the number measurements aside from being "hand sized". as long as
everything can fit in my palm, that's all that matters.

WIP (goose)

base core base meat color mix

the begining. use some scrap pieces and slap them together frankenstien style.
for the first few bits, i wasnt actually sure of what animal i had in mind.
i coulda gone with making a coyote, or cougar... but settled with goose.
and then did some color mixing of what ill use.

wing form wing shape wing wet

wings. made them bigger than what they were needed in porportion to the body.
because itll be refined in the wetting/shringkage process. and how i got to the correct size to
then have it porportional to the body?
shrug.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
intuition and speculation, i guess.
its just a skill i pick up in the disipline of using this wool medium for a few years.

thin wings wing feath wing pack

now thats noot to say im immune to mistakes.. for every moment of being alive is a learnign process.
as stated by the way light can pierce through the wool of the wings. even after shringkage.
so that would mean that the wings are too thin, too weak. will tear easily
so all i gotta do is pack on a layer of more wool to the shape and do wetting again.
also added a couple more feathers to stick out the edge. itll just look better.
instead of only having 3 at one single corner.

wet wing thick win body wing

thats better.

belly mix belly on stumpy

the belly. usually I go about gradients wetly, but this time was just dry. just had to rub the layers in
my palms until the different colored fibers bleed into one another.

head meat head skin head on

leggless legging

getting there...

band tube

then used some rubber band to give the neck a bit of a passive curve, and the tube to fold the wings.

AND THAT WAS JUST GOOSE

NOW FOR THE GOSLINGS

cores base color

get cores to shape up the body, and then just slap the skin on top.

hues winglet wing 3s

the yellow of the babs were in different shades so i can tell them apart. same with the wing part that is then attached.
