and i wanted to flex my skills and also create something of a loving gift to a lovely person.
so i kicked my own ass into creating this.

WIPs

pink fluf red fluff

get wettings of the two cover halves. light pink and a dark pink with
a mishmash of other colors. the other side is just a blank grey.

big cover lil cover

heres the before and after of the shrinkage for rolling both covers.
there is a very fine line to shrinkage on how long i should and on which
directions and ways because too small and nothing will fit.
wouldnt hold any cards or cash or whatever.
but not enough shrinkage and its too large of a beast that wouldnt slip in any pockets.
i just have to eyeball that shit and use intuition.

green til blue tile

get tiles wetted up about for the pockets. the blue one there is actually from a different thing
made that blue tile way the fuck long ago... like from 21. it was a project that i ultimately scrapped.
anmd the blue tile was sitting there. and then decided that the size and shape can finally give use.
so a pocket it shall be!

yarn rope tile pile big blue

create three pockets. green, small blue and big blue.
then pull out some yarn and brade that shit into a rope.
my braiding skills are admitidly subpar but... ey. it holds together.

flower ripping eyeing

i got the idea to put some decals on the empty space of the green tile.
gonna go some flowery stuff...
and then ripped it out.
then used some of the scraps to be a pair of eyes.
i dunno. watching any looters.
thought it would be more in style of the firend.

cov dry wrapping end bulb

after connecting the two halves and setting to dry, i made the rope.
wasnt basing any mesurments on how much yarn before i cut and brade, but it did loop around the animal a couple times. great!
and then made a little bulby thing at an end of the rope.

eleph tusks

and for the elephant theme. heres an elephant. (the rope will be trunk)
(the elephant is also a pocket)

pocks seaming punching

figuriing how the fuck to attach the pockets onto the body.

pock on ele on ele in

rope on rope in trunk on

trunking

and yeah. the rope is the trunk.

seam on enforce stucking

the seams of the pockets could not be trusted. i just know that at some point that it would just fall apart.
so i go and slam some ectra wool at the borders to reinforce the seams and make sure the pockets will remain at first pull.

do seam boxes flatt

and then when all is good and done, i shove the animal underneath a heavy box so that it would press itself more flat.
as is more aptly for what a wallet should be.
instead of bulging out of itself.

stabs bluep

and then yeah. the stab counter. feels good to go back on recording how much i bleed.
38. meh. low amount for such a large animal. granted that 80 percent of the time spent in total
was just wetting rather than using the needle.
the tallying looks weird because i had to tack on an extra day to get the seams properly strong.
and the whole sheet which was the blue print. big ole empty space because
i thought i would put more planning on the paper. apparently not. just raw dog the beast right as i go.
