i love seeing baby altricial birds, where theyre just bald and squirming. sure the fluffy precocial babies are cute, but like. OF COURSE theyre cuuuuuute. but theres just something special of seeing. these things.

anyway I think budgie would absolutely be born bald instead of fluffy.
